Brown butter adds a full, rich flavor to baked goods, pasta & so many other foods. It just takes a few minutes. For baked goods, I typically brown half the butter & then let it cool before using. Experiment, & let us know what you like!
- Place desired amount of butter in pan. Light colored pan works best.
- Stir over medium heat until butter becomes caramel in color. This will take a few minutes & at one point it will get foamy. See video.
- Remove from heat & transfer to a bowl to cool.
